Pulse 2 is an analog monophonic(can be used as paraphonic) synthesizer announced in 2012 by Waldorf. The shipment began from the end of 2013. Former "Pulse" was 2U rackmount module. Pulse 2 is compact desktop module. The case is healthy metal, same as Waldorf blofeld synthesizer, I guess. Though Pulse 2 has large LCD, we can see only too big patch number and small patch name in most situation. Sound on Sound reviewer Paul Nagle wrote "Display woefully under-used". Pulse 2's sound is nice. Compared with cheaper Waldorf Rocket which is not versatile with limited controles, Pulse 2 is a fully programable, well-done modern mono synth.
